Drib sang is practiced mainly for cleansing and purification from negative spirits and energy. In Buddhism, we use Drib sang especially when we come back from cremation services so to annihilate the negative energy and spirits before entering a home. It is also used for numerous practices like a cleansing of ominous spirits and energy and other ritual activities. The ingredients consist of the Juniper tree, leaves, cedrius leaves, benzoin resin, a small amount of pearl, and turquoise as an offering the realms above and (phubta) which we receive from Rinpoche's with blessing.
