Dechen Chodron is a dynamic and visionary fashion entrepreneur from Bhutan, recognized for her innovative approach to blending traditional Bhutanese textiles with contemporary design. At just 29, she founded Dechen Atelier in 2021, a fashion brand based in Changzamtog that quickly garnered attention for its creative fusion of cultural heritage and modern aesthetics. Growing up in Langjophakha, Dechen's early interest in fashion led her to experiment with fabrics and sketch designs as a teenager. She later pursued a BA (Hons) in Fashion Designing and Marketing in Malaysia, which paved the way for her entrepreneurial journey.
